Faux Wood Furniture – Nr.Wetherby, North Yorkshire For this faux wood furniture project the clients were re-designing their office and wanted their fitted cream furniture to look like real wood. The panels were painted to look like burr walnut whist the frames were painted to look like oak. Whilst I was taking photographs of the finished piece a family friend walked in and asked if I was the joiner who had made it! Faux Wood Oak Doors – Oare, Devon For this faux wood painting project I travelled down to the beautiful village of Oare in Devon to paint some pine doors and make them look like aged oak. The manor house was undergoing a massive refurbishment and amongst the things I was commissioned to  paint were these doors. The clients had bought a beautiful ‘aged oak’ table for the breakfast room but found the new doors didn’t really match. Faux Wood Effect Pine Door – Harrogate, North Yorkshire This faux wood effect project involved painting a faux pine door in a home which had recently had a loft conversion. As part of the  building regulations a fire door had to be fitted which created a problem as all the rest of the doors in the hallway were panelled antique pine. The new, flat white fire door naturally stuck out like a sore thumb, so I faux painted it to look like all the rest.
