Faux Leather Paint Effect

As well as a faux leather paint effect for the fireplace the clients wanted something subtle for their lounge walls. Taking inspiration from the colours in the floor and soft furnishings I came up the the idea of a ‘gradiated’ broken colour paint effect. Essentially the colour starts darker at the bottom and then gently lightens as you move up the wall. This is a very difficult but extremely effective finish which slowly creeps up on the viewer and often takes them by surprise. Another aspect to this project was the faux leather paint effect I created on the fireplace. This matched the sofas perfectly and really tied the whole room together.
