For this project I was asked to paint and antique the kitchen; ageing the units to give them that real ‘country kitchen’ look.
The top cupboards and the island were painted in block colour and then lightly antiqued with a raw umber glaze. The bottom units were quite heavily distressed, then stained and waxed to give them an authentic aged oak appearance.
