These lounge walls were painted with a three-tone striped oil glaze. Oil glaze is a term that I employ for a broken colour finish that has been ‘ragged on’.
The finish here is actually very refined and subtle, and has a fantastic depth of colour – a far cry from the over used and often garish rag rolling of the 90′s. The striped effect gives a classic yet modern look and can be tailored to suit any room, with narrower stripes adding height and wider ones depth.
