For this project the clients wanted to create a rustic ‘shabby chic’ feel to the room. I was commissioned to treat the walls of both the guest room and the en-suite, applying a textured antiqued paint finish to create an aged look.
The paint was layered on to give a slight texture before a layer of antique glaze was added. The glaze was then rubbed off so it only sat in certain areas. This created a wonderful wall finish that harmonised beautifully with the other decorative features in the room.
