Broken Colour Paint Effect

These lounge walls were painted with a ‘broken colour’ paint effect which  I call a ‘three-tone’ striped oil glaze. Oil glaze is a term that I employ for a broken colour finish that has been ‘ragged on’. The finish here is actually very refined and subtle with a  fantastic depth of colour – a far cry from the over used and often garish rag rolling of the 90’s. The striped effect gives a classic yet modern look and can be tailored to suit any room. Narrower stripes create the illusion of height whilst wider ones add width.

The other sample picture you see shows a close up of my ‘oil glaze’ broken colour paint effect.
