Hand Painted Laminate Kitchen – Silsden, West Yorkshire
For this hand painted laminate kitchen transformation the clients wanted their old wooden kitchen painted to make the room feel lighter, brighter and more modern. They had already painted the walls and replaced the worktops before I arrived and would be re-tiling and fitting new handles once I’d finished. As with all my kitchen jobs I first began by cleaning the units before sanding them and masking off all areas. Once prepped I applied 2 coats of primer, filled any gaps or holes and then applied three coats of eggshell, lightly sanding between coats. The end result was a beautifully even, brush mark free finish in off white.
The clients were over the moon with their new hand painted kitchen and said it was worth every penny and then some. A lovely couple, a fab project and a great transformation! Later they wrote this review on my Free Index page.

We got Lee in to paint our kitchen as it was very dated and we didn’t have much natural light and couldn’t afford a new kitchen to be fitted. Lee came over for a consultation to discuss our requirements. Unlike some tradesman Lee spared lots of time, he was there for a few hours and you could tell he was passionate about his work. We went ahead and Lee was very professional – he covered all surfaces well and was very tidy. His attention to detail was exceptional, in fact he was nearly finished but wasn’t happy with one of the doors so repainted it. We were thrilled with the end result, it was so much brighter and I loved it. It completely transformed the kitchen and looked like a brand new kitchen had been fitted.
