Hand Painted Murals – Pricing & Process
Following our initial contact I would arrange a convenient time to come out to you home or business for a no obligation consultation. During my visit we’d talk over any ideas you have in mind or if you need some inspiration I’ll be happy to come up with some ideas and supply pictures, photos and other reference material to help visualise the possibilities.
I would then email or post you a detailed quote for the ideas we discussed, quite often supplying a few options with various budgets to help you decide which is the best option for you. If you would like me to provide a sketch of the mural first I am happy to do so at no extra cost.
As each mural is unique, prices are determined by a number of factors including the number of characters, whether there is a background, the level of detail and the style of the painting itself (more detailed work takes longer and therefore costs more).
The price I give in quotes is always fixed so there’s no hidden surprises and it always includes all materials, labour & petrol costs. Prices start at around £100.
Once the mural design has been agreed we would then arrange a suitable starting date and then it’s painting time! Throughout the process, from the initial drawing out to the finishing touches, I want to make sure you’re completely happy with your mural so regular feedback is always welcome.
Most custom hand painted murals take between a few days and a week to complete, with entire themed rooms rarely taking more than a month. Naturally adding a background scene or painting very detailed characters takes longer.
