For this rustic wall paint effects project the clients wanted a rustic wall effect with a real ‘shabby chic’ feel for one of their guest bedrooms. I suggested creating an all over textured and antiqued paint finish which would not only give them that ‘shabby chic’ look but also be a work of art unto itself. The paint was actually layered on to give a slight texture and then glazed to give it that really ‘aged’ look. This effect worked wonderfully, harmonising all the other decorative features and giving them a truly unique room.
