Hand Painted Kitchen with Paint Effect

Hand Painted Kitchen with Paint Effect – Rawdon, Leeds I undertook this wonderful hand painted kitchen project in a truly unique house in Rawdon, Leeds. A converted chapel, the house retains many of its original features, from stone archways and wooden slatted ceilings, to corbels and hidden niches. The kitchen too was a one off, bespoke, handmade and pretty Gothic in design. The clients contacted me wanting to update their kitchen as the original colour was looking distinctly yellow and had also darkened with age. This was in large part to an inferior varnish having been applied...

Kitchen Repainting

Kitchen Repainting – West Ella, Hull As a specialist kitchen painter I work throughout most of Yorkshire. For this particular kitchen re-paint I traveled to beautiful house in West Ella, just outside Hull. The scale of this project was pretty large, not only due to the size of the kitchen and all the lovely detailing, but also due to the vast amounts of preparation required. My clients had inherited the kitchen when they bought the house a number of years ago and unfortunately had inherited its paint finish too. It was actually the worst finish I have ever seen on a kitchen. It looked...

Hand Painted Oak Kitchen, Wetherby

Hand Painted Oak Kitchen, Wetherby, West Yorkshire For this hand painted oak kitchen transformation I worked in a beautiful home near Wetherby in West Yorkshire. The house was a barn conversion with stunning over-sized windows running almost the entire length of the house. The client had always wanted a hand painted kitchen and had really done her research, scouring the internet, reading Blogs and researching the best way of doing things. After looking at my website and reading my Blogs she decided I was the man she wanted to entrust the work too 🙂 The kitchen was extremely well made and had...

Hand Painted Oak Kitchen, Leeds – Bramhope For this hand painted oak kitchen project I traveled to lovely house in Bramhope, Leeds. Sometimes having your kitchen hand painted can create something very special indeed, this was one such project! The clients had recently moved into the house and had inherited this lovely, albeit dark handmade kitchen. Though beautifully made they felt it looked a bit dated and was in need of modernising. They had found me on the web and were very interested in finding out more about the hand painted route – a fabulous and very cost effective option....

Hand Painted Beech Laminate Kitchen

Hand Painted Beech Laminate Kitchen – Halifax I undertook this hand painted kitchen project in a private house in Halifax. The kitchen itself was made of beech and was the original one that had been installed when the development was built. Since then tastes and fashions have changed and the clients felt they now wanted a more up to date look for their kitchen. Though the room itself had plenty of light the original units made it feel dark and tended to dominate the space rather than blend in. The kitchen was well made and the layout perfect for their needs so rather than going down...
