Painted Marble Effect on Slate Fire Surround

Painted Marble Effect on Slate Fire Surround – Milton Keynes This faux marble commission was for a couple near Milton Keynes. They had bought an old Victorian house and were in the midst of some large-scale renovations. Amongst the original features were two slate fireplaces. This was the one in the lounge, and though in terrible repair it had all the original tiles and could be made to look wonderful again. Marble Effect Bathroom Walls

Painted Marble Effect Walls – The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate, Yorkshire This marble effect paint project was commissioned by the manager of The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate. During the consultation we looked at new colours for the units and also for the walls, deciding on the ‘French Grey’ range from The Little Greene Company. The ‘French Grey’ range has light, medium and dark versions of the same tones, all  of which I can get accurately matched in my specialist paint. The final decision was that the...

Hand Painted Pine Kitchen York

Hand Painted Pine Kitchen, York For this hand painted pine kitchen project I headed over to Moor Monkton near York. The kitchen had been hand made by ‘Jeremy Wood’ quite a number of years ago and the clients were keen to update it and repair a few areas that had been damaged. They contacted me by email having seen my page on the fabulous ‘Traditional Painter’ website and asked if I could hand paint their kitchen in a ‘light – mid’ shade to made it look more contemporary and give the room a lighter, brighter feel. Yes I said and it will be done to the...
